I'm a big girl now-check out my new room

Mom finally let me sleep downstairs in my new pink room. I love my pink room and I can say I officially made the move-officially, meaning I've only slept there two nights so far but it's going good. I have my own big girl pink bed, lots of pink toys, my princess stuff, my carebears, and of course my babies in my new big bed.
My old room turned into the toy room for now until my brother gets here. And by the way, I want a sister, not a brother. Mom says I have a strong will...whatever that means...and that my determination will not be able to win the battle of a brother vs a sister arriving-hmmm.

Sliding vs Santa

The excitment to go sliding with my Daddy....

....was a little greater than seeing Santa.

I went to "see" Santa and I mean see not sit by Santa on Saturday. I was brave enough to get a candy cane from him but I couldn't quite tell him that lipstick was on the top of my list.

Sharing my Christmas book with Daddy
Daddy and I out sliding

Getting into Dad's technical toys- he left them out for me to grab so I snatched them right up. Except, these headphones aren't playing any music???
Baking our first batch of christmas cookies with Mom

Who can resist a snitch? Beaware-if you eat any of my cookies they are hand baked with love and they probably have a few of my finger prints in them from the nummy snitches.

Happy Thanksgiving

I had a fun Turkey Day with Mom's family. There was all this talk about shopping and the Black Friday ads for tomorrrow so I decided to see what it was all about. They were right-there are tons of toys that I saw in my ad. Of course I need to have all of them. As you can tell from the picture, Dad's not too interested in my shopping list for tomorrow. I need to find a way to convince him to take me to the store so we can get some of these deals! Maybe I'll look for the electronics ads and find some stuff for both of us-I saw a princess radio and princess tv.

Snoooooowwwwwwwwwww

It snowed and I'm trying to figure out what this stuff is. So far, the only thing I can figure out is it messes up my mittens...

Let me just see what this stuff tastes like...
DELICIOUS! Just like ice-I love ice!

Enough taste testing, on to more important work-shoveling the driveway. I need to get it all done before Dad comes home from work. With the amount of snow my 'sand box' shovel can handle, it might take me awhile.

Trick or Treat

I had lots of fun trick or treating and I am still eating from my candy pile-I love candy. My costume was Minnie Mouse. I'm not so in love with Minnie but I do love anything pink so it was fun to dress up as Minnie for the day
In the morning I went to Amy's house with Mom. We met up with all my daycare friends and then some more neighborhood daycares. We went on a Halloween parade together and had lots of fun. Below are most of my friends from Amy's house

That night I got to hand out candy at home. I went trick or treating in the country when Dad got home from work. By the time I found my Lodermeier cousins, I was getting a little tired-somehow we still managed to eat just a little candy together and had fun with all of our treats.

Carving Pumpkins

Daddy helped me carve pumpkins before Halloween

I'm not so sure of the inside of this pumpkin

I'm starting to have a little more fun now that I can use a spoon instead of my fingers
and I'm finding some seeds
While Dad was cutting out the face, I couldn't help so instead
I got to draw a face on my little pumpkin

Then we were almost done and I got to put the hat on

And here we are with our masterpieces!

"Buff's Barn" (or Barn's Bluff as the rest of us know it)

We went to Buff's Barn this weekend and I got to do some climbing. I found a lot of leaves, some rocks, sticks, rock climbers, hikers, trees, trains, boats, rivers, a fox, and some more leaves.
It was a fun trip

Birthdays

Grandma Rox celebrated a birthday. Happy Birthday Grandma!
(Sofie hadn't arrived to the party when we cut the cake so she missed the pictures.)

Grandma needed a little extra wind power with her candles

Grandpa Doug also had a birthday this week but I didn't get my picture with him.
Happy Birthday to you too Grandpa!

MN ZOO

We BEARLY made it to the MN Zoo before the snow came this year. The African animals had gone back to Africa already but that's okay because I think I saw all of them at the Como Zoo. My favorite animals were the monkeys, the bears, and the farm animals.
The zoo was decorated for Hallozooween.
Mom and I are standing next to one of the scarecrows.
This is my favorite one, the teddy bear scarecrow.
The Bears

Mom and I are playing in the bear cave. My favorite book right now is Going On A Bear Hunt. We had fun pretending to be in the book while we were playing in the cave.

This is the closest I could get to the bears

Combine Ride

This is hard to believe, but I am up in that combine riding with Uncle Brent!!
He was combining beans at Grandpa Dick's house and let me come with to help. It was very cool and his hopper sure did fill up with a lot of "soy beans". I am not so patiently waiting for another ride-almost every morning and night on my way to and from Amy's I spot the bean field and ask to go in the combine. Mom says I will get to go again when they start picking corn.

Okay, the truth is I really did like the ride but I don't know if I could have done it without Mom with. That combine is a huge machine!!
My flower skirt wasn't quite right for the event but Mom didn't tell me I was going to be farming that day-for corn season I will have my farming attire ready!

Feeding Freddie with Grandma Agenten

Avery returned to Goodhue for another visit. While she was here, we were able to do my favorite thing at "Grandma Yoya's" house-feed the animals. Freddie the duck is my favorite to feed becuase he eats the corn very very fast and is always looking for something to eat. Here Grandma brought us to the barn to get some corn so we could get started on our mission.

Next we load up our cups with corn and make sure Freddie is nice and close.

And then we throw out our corn and watch Freddie go to town.

Tweite's Pumpkin Patch With Avery

Avery and I went on a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We both fell in love with these two tiny pumpkins. The pumpkin patch was filled with activities for us and we had a lot of fun exploring. I keep asking if we can go back to the Pumpkin Patch and haven't talked mom into it yet.
